Work Status:  Full-Time (30-40hrs/week)

The Sales Specialist is responsible for developing deep, long lasting relationships with customers that lead to an increase in sales, service, and loyalty.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build a loyal personal client base by constantly acquiring new customers, developing existing clients, and retaining loyal clients
  • Consistently deliver extraordinary service to all clients
  • Exceed all sales and service personal goals and targets
  • Exceed all sales and service store goals and targets
  • Share expert level of product knowledge with entire store selling team
  • Maintain solid relationships with buyer
  • Drive sales by identifying key marketing opportunities and event execution
  • Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price change, and related sales and store maintenance tasks
  • Communicate regularly with personal clients through phone, email, regarding in-store events, merchandise requests, sales follow-up, birthdays, etc.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • College diploma or University Degree
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets
  • Highly collaborative; working with and through others in a team-oriented environment
  • Boutique experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the customer that includes nights and weekends
  • Minimum of two or more years’ experience in a commission-based clothing sales environment
  • Prior retail sales experience in a designer luxury environment preferred
  • Responsible, takes initiative, competitive, self-confident, and self-motivated

 

Measures:

  • Growth in sales volume and number of clients (new and existing)
  • Consistent achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly personal sales targets
  • Consistent achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly store targets
  • Delivery of extraordinary service to customers

 

Compensation

  • Salary + Commission, including seasonal clothing allowance and employee discount
