The annual return of stripes comes with no surprise, yet we anticipate and welcome its arrival. Stripes are strongly tied to the nautical trend which signifies summer. This season, opt for bold stripes.

Horizontal stripes are classic and easy to coordinate. Look to thick stripes in pops of color to create high contrast. Pinstripes are generally viewed as more formal. Designers have even manipulated the direction of stripes to contour the body, and mixed stripes of different directions for a modern change. Stripes will pair with everything as it is both classic and trendy.
