Kiss the Neck

The retro comeback of the 70s has established a look that can only be described as understated glam. Think back to Cindy Crawford’s tight turtleneck and mom jeans, or Marilyn Monroe’s turtleneck sweater and high waisted pants.

The common denominator? A turtleneck. This silhouette has been slowly gaining momentum in the past several seasons, and is now a key staple for F/W ’16. While the 70s saw tight fits and high necks, the modern take has more variety. Regardless, this subtle detail has a dramatic effect to transform a simple outfit to something sleek, or cozy, or trendy.
